Manu Gonzalez is one of the rare breed of home grown, super talented Ibiza DJs. Born on the sunny isle of Ibiza in 1990 this young DJ&Producer is now beginning to make a real impact on the electronic music scene. Manu worked for many years at the legendary Discos Delta – ordering and selling vinyl for all the DJ/Producers who were based in Ibiza. From the age of 15 Manu was involved in the Ibiza music scene, developing his own style, based on quality music skills and the sonic experience he learnt from dealing with the worlds best professionals from an early age.
Manu has his own special way of understanding and interpreting Balearic music mixes with his influences ranging from Chicago House, Detroit Techno to the latest trends including quality tech house mixed with groovy touches of contemporary, underground house with the main focus always being the dancefoor and the crowd. Rolling, powerful grooves mixed with his old school style DJ sets have won him many fans from all over the world.
 
For such a young artist, Manu has worked hard to be established with an international fan base. Playing all over the world in places such as London, Mexico, Estonia, Austria, Germany, Scotland, Italy, Romania along with many other countries. Here in Ibiza, Manu has played regularly at what most people consider to be the best clubs in the world; Ushuaia, Space Ibiza, HI Ibiza , Pacha and Privilege. From 2014 Manu was a weekly resident at one of the most talked about nights on the island – Tribal Sessions at Sankeys Ibiza which saw him billed alongside some of the greats such as Danny Tenaglia, Greg Vickers, Bushwacka, Todd Terry and Luciano to name a few. 2016 saw Manu’s debut show with Ants at Ushuaia Ibiza, sharing the stage with Andrea Oliva, Ilario Alicante and many more. Manu has also launched an exclusive bi monthly residency at legendary London club The Egg. Most weekends when not traveling abroad Manu is playing in Madrid, Barcelona and all over Spain.
 
When not DJing, Manu can be found in his studio producing and editing tracks for prestigious labels such as Moon Harbour, Knee Deep In Sound, Nervous New York, Cr2 Records, Real Nois,Toolroom, Oblack & many more. His tracks have been played and supported by Marco Carola, Luciano, Loco dice and more who are all happy to work with the unique sound of Manu. In recent times, Manu has forged powerful collaborations with Vatos Locos boss Hector, who recently remixed one of his tracks. Manu has been also been working regularly with SecondCity and they have had some huge releases together such as Funk’d and Play It on Cr2 Records, which were championed by Marco Carola and the Martinez Brothers, as well as receiving support on BBC Radio 1 from Pete Tong, Annie Mac and Danny Howard.
Manu was selected by Pioneer DJ Radio to do their inaugural show which was a huge success. This was followed by his remix of Hot Since 82’s ‘Restless ft. Alex Mills’ which landed an 8/10 on the Mixmag track reviews. Fast forward several months and on September 29th 2015, Manu Gonzalez was awarded Best Ibiza DJ by the DJ Awards which emphasized how solid his music career is and how much he is valued as a DJ in the capital of Dance. Manu has since had the honor of doing an After Hours guest mix on Pete Tongs Essential Selection on BBC Radio 1. 2017 has been an incredible year for Manu with recent shows at the world recognised International Music Summit (IMS Ibiza 10th Anniversary) Sharing the stage in Dalt Vila castle with The Martinez Brothers, Pete Tong, Seth Troxler, Tale of Us and more..playing his debut at Blue Marlin Ibiza for their 2017 official summer Opening Party with Dennis Ferrer, where he closed the terrace for a soldout event at the legendary Cala Jondal beach club or with shows at HÏ Ibiza (Old Space Ibiza) with In The Dark, playing with Luciano, Steve Lawler or Nic Fanciulli to name a few.

Traveling from Ibiza to Tokyo, South America, all over the world for his shows, 2018 is looking the biggest year to date for the Ibicencan DJ&Producer. In March 2019 Manu will Launch Question Reality, his new record label and exclusive event’s brand. QR first event will be at Heart Ibiza, Cirque Du Soleil’s venue on March 25th with Steve Lawler , Manu and guests. Question Reality first releases reached top 6 and top 16 on the official Beatport Charts, and the next QR events have had super special guests such as HotSince82 playing along Manu. In 2020 Manu started the year joining for worldwide representation with prestigious agency B4 Bookings, making Manu play along Marco Carola warmuping for him at Pacha Barcelona, playing on NYD for Paco Osuna and his Mindshake x Wan Festival show along Paco Osuna,Loco Dice,Marco Carola, Pan-pot and many more, and confirming shows with DEFECTED Ibiza and many more big opportunities. His next release, and first of 2020, is coming out on the 14th of February on Matthias Tanzmann well respected German imprint Moon Harbour as a single, “To The Call” Supported by Pete Tong, Sasha, Steve Lawler, Nic Fanciulli, Joseph Capriati and many more.
